Rapid changes in culture, law, and popular opinion on issues related to human identity and “gender” are shaping the experiences of Catholics and, not surprisingly, generating some confusion. These changes raise challenging questions for Catholic dioceses and parishes working to communicate Christ’s love and respect for all persons in the context of the truth.

The Person and Identity Project has developed materials specifically tailored to diocesan and parish settings. From “the Basics” of gender ideology to our “FAQs” and extensive “Resources,” these materials provide a foundation for acquainting staff, volunteers, and laity with Catholic teaching on the person and the challenges presented by gender ideology. We invite Catholic institutions — schools, dioceses, parishes or lay organizations — to contact us for information about staff trainings or for assistance with particular issues relating to pastoral care.
