  • Biological Integrity: States that Protect Minors from Transgender Interventions Factsheet
  • Ohio Saving Adolescents from Experimentation Act (SAFE): This Ohio law was enacted in January 2024 (Gov. DeWine vetoed the act but the veto was overridden by large margins). The SAFE Act prohibits physicians from treating minors with puberty-suppressing drugs, cross-sex hormones, or surgery for “gender transition” purposes and prohibits male athletes from participating on sports teams for females.   • Bioethics Public Policy Report is a bi-weekly newsletter by the National Catholic Bioethics Center.
  • Education Power for Parents: A State Legislation Tracker (2024) by the Heritage Foundation (2024, updated regularly). This link tracks state legislation introduced and passed to address academic transparency, a parents’ bill of rights, the given name act, and rejecting CRT discrimination.  
  • Opposition to Conversion Therapy Bans: “Dear Legislator” Fact Sheets (2023) by National Task Force for Therapy Equality. This link provides factual information to support therapists’ free speech rights and patients’ rights to pursue talk therapy aligned with faith and personal goals. [link] 
  • IndoctriNation Map (2024) by Parents Defending Education. This interactive map permits searching by state or public school district for policies that promote gender ideology, restrict parental rights, or where parents have exposed left-wing indoctrination by teachers or in the curriculum. 
  • List of Public School District “Transgender” Secrecy Policies (2024) by Parents Defending Education. This is a list of school districts that “openly state that district personnel can or should keep a student’s transgender status hidden from parents.”   
  • Protecting Minors from Gender Ideology, Policy Updates (2024) by Do No Harm, a non-profit for “physicians, nurses, medical students, patients, and policymakers focused on keeping identity politics out of medical education, research, and clinical practice.” 
  • Fact Sheets for Physicians and Policy-Makers (2023) by Our Duty, an international parents organization opposing “medical transition” for minors. 
  • Women’s Bill of Rights (2024) by the Independent Women’s Forum. Four states to date have passed a version of the Women’s Bill of Rights, which defines man and woman as male and female (respectively) for purposes of state law.
  • State Policy Brief: Save Adolescents from Experimentation Act (SAFE) by the Family Research Council. As of early 2024, 22 states have passed legislation to protect minors from experimental medical and surgical interventions for “gender transition” purposes. Most recently, Ohio passed the SAFE Act, based on model legislation described here by the Family Research Council.
